New York

Ground Central (FiDi)

A fan favorite in Midtown, Ground Central now has a new outpost for all you downtown folks! With great food, baller coffee, and a slew of hot chocolate flavors, Ground Central is a cozy spot for a meeting or to buckle down and get some work done.

The Coop (Bay Ridge)

La Colombe coffee on tap, need we say more? If you find yourself in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, treat yo’self to The Coop, with a killer food selection and a mesmerizing latte on tap.

Gotan (Midtown West)

Status quo ain’t a thing here at Gotan in midtown— the baristas are always trying something new. With Instagram-worthy breakfast options and coffee that never disappoints, not to mention a cozy ambiance, grab a book or meet a friend and enjoy what this trendy cafe has to offer.

Springbone Kitchen (West Village)

The biggest new trend taking NYC (and the country) by storm? Bone broth. Known for it’s healing powers, this delicious meal is also one that will impact you for the long haul. Accompanying your friend and don’t want to get your own soup? Grab a coffee instead – we got your back, and you can even try bulletproof (butter) coffee if you so dare!

Cafe 1178 (Bushwick)

Free yoga on weekends, concerts, and comedy events accompany your daily coffee at Cafe 1178. You may miss this hidden gem if you aren’t looking for the sign outside, but be sure not to— there’s fantastic coffee to be had!

Father Knows Best (Bushwick)

It’s a bar, it’s a coffee shop, it’s Father Knows Best! Stop by this Bushwick joint for some killer brunch, some fun beers and cocktails, and of course, your coffee fix. We just love multi-tasking!

Bushwick Grind Coffee House (Bushwick)

We’re taking over Bushwick lately! A brand new coffee shop, stop by Bushwick Grind Coffee House for some live music, and some yummy grilled cheese sandwiches! With Counter Culture coffee and friendly service, this new shop is quickly becoming beloved by locals and visitors alike.

Fastering (East Harlem)

Harlem’s Fastering cafe features Mexican food and Mexican coffee! Visit this cafe for some creative coffee options, including Mexican Coffee and coffee jello with rompope sauce! Why not try something new? If you’re set with caffeine, they also make some pretty bomb milkshakes.

Looking for your high end coffee fix near Penn Station? Your search ends at RedEye Coffee! With the perfect cup of joe and a chocolate croissant worth breaking your diet over, stop by for a real treat. RedEye also has a great selection of tea.

Sherry B Dessert Studio (Chappaqua)

The first CUPS hop in New York outside of the city, Sherry B Dessert Studio has some of the most beautiful and drool-worthy desserts and homemade ice creams! What goes better with a cookie bar or stuffed brownie than a cup of joe? Bonus: The Clintons and Governor Cuomo live in Chappaqua, so you may spot some VIPs.

Space Craft Coffee (East Williamsburg)

This East Williamsburg coffee shop is nestled in a beer hall! Space Craft Coffee is dedicated to serving your remote work, WiFi, and grabbing a drink with good company needs, as well as to go service. They also collaborate with local restaurants and bars that want to experiment with operating a cafe, so who knows who will show up?

San Francisco

Caffe Bianco (FiDi)

Great service and an old school feel are what make this San Francisco spot an absolute must-visit. If that isn’t enough, they have great food to accompany your cup of joe, great lighting, and an overall friendly vibe.

Prima Cafe (FiDi)

Fresh, organic, and local ingredients are the name of the game at Prima Cafe in SF. In addition to your java, you can grab a gluten free or vegan breakfast sandwich, and a juice. See? Prima’s got all of your needs covered.

South Bay

Back Yard Coffee Company (Redwood City)

Alert: they have Stumptown! And also beer and tea and hot cocoa. Often frequented for their Nitro, Back Yard Coffee Company has ample indoor and outdoor seating. They also feature concerts, comedy shows, movie nights, and more!

La Lune Sucree (San Jose)

If you can’t hop over to Europe during your lunch break, La Lune Sucree is your next best bet! With a serious pastry menu as well as crepes, quiche, and some bomb “puffs,” wash down your new treats with a Americano or even treat yourself to an Affogato. Don’t forget to leave room for dessert!

Vero’s Coffee Bar (San Jose)

You can’t go wrong sitting inside or outside at Vero’s Coffee Bar. This family-owned cafe is a beloved neighborhood staple, and their famous Mexican Mocha is not to be missed. Coffee purist? Go for their Ethiopian espresso. Chai lover? Make a beeline for the Bhakti Chai.

Coffee & More Cafe (Sunnyvale)

Come for the coffee, stay for the atmosphere. With wrap around windows, fantastic customer service, and of course, great coffee, Coffee & More Cafe is a spacious spot to chill out, read, work, and socialize. They also have an extensive food menu, and are constantly changing their coffee roasts so there is always something new to try.

Black Forge Coffee House (Allentown)

With homemade everything, and a very rock’n’roll vibe, from the music selections down to the decor (and even the name, really), Black Forge is a badass spot in Pittsburgh that marches to its own drummer. Except the drummer is Neil Peart or John Bonham, and instead of marching, they’re thrashing around madly.

Butterwood Bake Consortium (Lawrenceville)

They had us sold at sweets and coffee. Loved by locals for their decadent desserts and delicious brews, Butterwood Bake Consortium uses KLVN coffee, roasted locally. Every detail is perfection at this adorable bakeshop!

Caffe D’Amore (Lawrenceville)

This Pittsburgh joint serves all your needs: pour over coffee, matcha, an extensive tea collection, in addition to the classic, but always delicious, espresso-based drinks. Add on friendly and knowledgeable baristas, and Caffe D’Amore is a great spot to spend time at!

New Jersey

Hidden Grounds (New Brunswick)

So beloved they opened a second New Brunswick outpost, Hidden Grounds is the epitome of hand-selected and handmade. Their espresso is pulled for 26 seconds, their masala chai is sent in from India, and their cream cheeses are hand-mixed. And dare we mention their pour over coffee?

Neat Coffee (Darien)

This Connecticut cafe takes coffee seriously. With a highly trained team that can teach you all about coffee, and an obsession with sourcing, roasting, and brewing quality coffee, Neat Coffee surely won’t disappoint!

Foxwood Cafe (Shingle Springs)

We’re making moves into Sacramento! Named after a garden in London that served as a place of refuge for soldiers after WWII, Foxwood is a cozy spot in the suburbs that boasts great food, extremely welcoming staff, and most importantly, expertly-crafted coffee.
