A croissant completes a cup of coffee. We know that. You know that. Errrbody knows that. Now you can use CUPS to purchase select food items at over 80 coffee shops around NYC. We’ve curated a selection of the four most delectable food items to munch on when you’re grabbing coffee at these locations.
Here’s how it works:
1) Look for the 🍪 emoji that indicates whether “Eats” is available at a location.
2) Select a location that offers Eats through CUPS.
3) Open the coffee shop specific page and after selecting your drink of choice, tap “Eats.”
4) Choose the desired edible and proceed to the “Checkout” page.
5) The “Eats” chosen will reflect on the screen along with your coffee drink.
The best part about all this? We are lowering the cost of all food items ordered through CUPS to $2 today. If the food item retails for less than $2 then it will stay the same price.
We know what you’re thinking: does that include the $8 ham and cheese croissant? Well yes… yes it does. If it is listed as a CUPS food item, then you can get it for $2 today. Happy Feasting!

Q: How am I charged?
A: At the end of each month we will process all your Eats transactions on one transaction and charge the card you put on file.
Q: Can I approve the charge before it happens?
A: We won’t prompt you to approve the balance; however, you can view the Eats transactions at any point by looking at “My History” in the app. If you see something that doesn’t look right you can message us at any time and we will be happy to take care of it!
Q: Will my credit card be kept on file?
A: Nope! CUPS works with a secure mobile-payment clearing company called Stripe—used by Squarespace, Twitter and other mobile companies—to process your payments. At no point does CUPS see your credit card details or other personal payment information.
Q: Can I get Eats at all CUPS coffee shops?
A: It is the coffee shop’s choice to offer Eats within the app. If the coffee shop does not offer Eats within CUPS app, the “Eats” button will not appear.
Q: Can I get a record of my charges?
A: We’ll send you an e-receipt when your card is charged.
